McCain Accuses Obama of Everything

advertisement

In the absence of a substantive campaign Senator McCain has been playing the accusation game. Each week, or every other day, McCain accuses Obama of something or other. It really doesn't matter what McCain accuses Obama of; one can almost fill in the blank. Examples of some of the accusations are listed below.

McCain accuses Obama of playing the race card.
McCain accuses Obama of pandering on Iraq.

The main problem with this approach is that it doesn't tell us what McCain will do for the country if elected president. He doesn't even tell us why we should vote for him. MORE

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

McCain needs to do more than accuse Obama of everything he can think of. He needs to convince America why he should be the next president. This poorly planned campaign of wearing away at Obama's image is only wearing away at McCain's image. Whiners are not winners.

McCain is just not looking like the best candidate to me. Let's face it, just looking at McCain you see an older gentleman of questionable health. He looks as though he might fall over while trying to pace the stage when he's speaking. I think he should not try to move around...it makes him LOOK older. That's number 1.

Number 2. The one and best opposition he could ever throw up against BO is his race. It's about the only thing that will count with Americans. Otherwise, there's very little that's worrisome about BO. He's of a good age. He's not the only Pres. candidate without military experience. Some candidate's military experience is really neglible. Does having been in the military time translate into being able to run a country? Frankly, I'm always a bit worried about the mental health of someone who's been shot at, dodging bombs and sometimes hated in a hostile place. Otherwise, being a CEO of a large corp. might translate better for me.

Number 3. BO is obviously a pretty intelligent guy. McCain's intelligence just doesn't jump out although he too has be an intelligent man. There's more, much more.

Number 4. I'm just not feeling McCain's connection to the everyday American....to people who've seen battle...yes-that's obvious. It's just that I haven't though I respect those who have. I'd love my president to see beyond the wars and terrorism. Deal with it.....Yes but address all the other financial and social situations that are present in the US.

So, my vote goes to OB as of today....it can change.

It's the kitchen-sink strategy, version 2.0.
